Message from the Principal

Dear Friends,
We continue our Lenten journey, in preparation for Holy Week, the Triduum, and the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection at Easter. Classes are focusing on Lent and the importance of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Students in grades 3-8 have participated in Lenten Penance and Reconciliation services in preparation for Easter.
Students are actively engaged in learning in all subjects and grade levels, from Pre-K hands-on, fun learning to middle school learning, including Biology and Chemistry, Algebra, Research, Civics, and American History. Eighth grade students are preparing and practicing for the Living Stations of the Cross that will be presented for the school community during Holy Week.
It is a busy time for the Sacred Heart Catholic School community!
We pray that this Lent season will help each of us draw nearer to Jesus as we remember His paschal mystery. May God continue to bless our school and parish community during this season of Lent.
God bless you,
Mrs. Beth Labreche
